Hello! My name is Christina, I am from Hungary. I'm 34 years old, married and don't have children. My original profession is a teacher and social educator.

I came to Ireland to built my clientele and make new friends as a nail technician. I have been licensed as a certified Nail Technician for 2 years. I was trained and educated OKJ (National Training Registry) in Hungary Manicurist, Pedicurist and Nail Technician professional course.  I worked in a beauty salon in Hungary for 2 years.It's my hobby, my life!!

Health and safety is an extremely important part of my work!  I use and store chemicals, gels and  acrylic correctly. I use tools carefully and follow strict hygiene procedures to prevent damage or infection to my clients' natural nails!!!

I use my creativity and skill to improve the appearance and condition of my clients’ nails.

As a nail technician, I would first discuss with clients the type of nail treatment they want, and check for any signs of skin or nail disease which could be affected by the treatment.

My work include:

• basic treatments, such as manicures
• preparing the natural nails by cleaning and filing them
• applying artifical nails or extensions
• decorating the nails with coloured acryl, glitter and rhinestones, or stickers
• painting designs with free-hand!!
• repairing, maintaining and removing artifical nails

I also advise clients about aftercare, and recommend nail care products.
